RAM can be checked by running the free memtest software anyway. If you like to confirm there has been no crash, you’d need to ask support to do log analysis for you. If you have a faulty RAM, the Roon server should have crashed - but there’s no clear indication this is the case so far. If you have not tried using a different network cable to a different port of the switch (or router), try it. I suspect that we’re facing a NUC hardware failure of some sort. I don’t see this with the chromecast or the Lumin. When connecte to my Sonos, I get a message right after the music stops “Lost control of audio device”. While listening to the Lumin and displaying to a chromecast video, the chromecast will disconnect.Īfter this started happening I had a problem with my router and replaced it, so the router should be the problem. After about 20-30 sec the pause button turns to play and I can resume play. When I said the bars keep moving after the audio stops, I meant the EQ bars next to the song playing. I even tested that cable with a line tester. There’s only one cable between the cable modem, which is bridged, to my router. Just to eliminate most switches and wall receptacles, I moved both the NUC and the Lumin to the router and plug both directly in with new cables. The chromcaste audio is WiFi and my Sonos and Lumin are wired. In the meantime I'm using my phone with a volume set to 50-60% and no more problem.I cycled the power as sugested and problem still exisit.

This is not related to WI-FI / Sync / offline mode / corruption of files because this works great with volume at 50-60% (btw I tried airplane mode, 4G, WI-FI, the problem is the same in all cases). I tried to disable the equalizer and the sound effects on the settings of Android. This doesn't happen only in my car but on my home speakers too (no matter what the volume is on the speakers). This doesn't happen in another app (I tried with stock music app).

Spotify told me they were working on a fix.Īs far as I know this only happens on Spotify Android when connected to external speakers with aux-in cable (I tested with 3 diff. I couldn't get more information about that problem. The pauses seem to occur always at the same timestamp (maybe when there are more bass / heavy sounds I don't know). The louder I set the volume the more pauses I get on the same track. The tracks pauses at some time during playback when volume is between 70-100%. Problem starts at 31 sec and occurs a few times on the track. I recorded that problem to show how annoying it is. Ok it works, but few days after some songs get corrupted again. I found other topics about that specific problem (or similar) but all are set to solved and solutions were not helpful. Because it happens randomly to songs that were playing successfuly before. It's like songs can get corrupted over time. But if I listen to the song at home/work using wifi, now it's playing fine. If I listen to the song again, the song pauses at the same positions. When it happens I have to press play button everytime it stops (it can stop a few times on one track). But I don't know why, some songs keeps pausing randomly.

I have no Internet connexion but it's ok songs are "downloaded". When I'm in my car everyday on my way to work, I have my android phone (Lollipop 5.1.1 - Spotify last version) playing downloaded music on spotify using aux-in (not bluetooth).
